WHY WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION
We collect personal information because it helps us serve the needs of our clients as well as discover how we may better serve the needs of potential clients.
TYPES OF COLLECTED INFORMATION
We love to hear about potential clients’ research needs and respond to those questions personally. In order to do that we ask for an email address. We never share this contact information with anyone outside of My Genealogy Roots and can delete it upon request. Some forms on our website alert users that their email address will be automatically added to our mailing list; they can unsubscribe at any time.
Client contact and genealogical information.
We use contact information from our clients in order to communicate with them regularly. We save email communication so that we may keep track of each client’s individual needs. All contact information and communication with our clients is private and is not shared with anyone outside of our group.
We save our clients’ genealogical and contact information for a period of at least one year after a project is finished without reorder, and generally longer, unless our clients request that we delete it.
